The Legend of Joan of Arc - Live Screening and Q&A

with Steven Ritz-Barr

We have been lucky to screen our film to many audiences in countries like Germany, Brazil, Tunisia and France - at Joan's home! - and we would love to present it to your community or organization.

Besides showing the film, the live presentations consist of:

a short lecture about the art of puppetry and the history of Joan of Arc

a Q&A with writer/director Steven Ritz-Barr and key *cast & crew

a live demonstration of marionette Joan atop her war horse in her awesome battle armor.

Steven has given presentations at George Washington University, Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, Mensa Western Regional Meeting, Dickenson University, Purdue University, Catholic University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern Califonia, Azusa Pacific University, Whitworth University, among other cultural, business and educational organizations.


Steven Ritz-Barr

Steven has worked for over 30 years in puppetry arts and in films and television including Batman Returns, The Muppets and Men in Black.

Since 2007 he has written and directed marionette films based on classic literature through his independent studio Classics in Miniature.
